02 Where you’re shipping

Three languages. You pick the street.

“Spanish” is at least two products. Tell us the market and we staff linguists who live there.

Spanish

Neutral Latin American for wide reach, or Spain for a Madrid launch.

Variants: es-419, es-MX, es-ES, es-US
Watch for: tú vs. usted, “computadora” vs. “ordenador”

Portuguese

Brazil is a different market from Portugal. We don’t blend them.

Variants: pt-BR, pt-PT
Watch for: “você” tone, date formats, “ecrã” vs. “tela”

French

French runs about 20% longer than English, so buttons break first.

Watch for: truncation, spacing before “:” and “?”, québécois terms

03 How the fee works

Half to start. Half when you’re happy.

Fifty percent at kickoff, fifty on delivery. If scope changes before we begin, we re-quote before work starts, never after.

Fees assume clean source files and one revision round.

What counts as a “word” for pricing?

Source-language words in your files, after we strip duplicates and code. We count them during the quote and show you the number.

Can you start with just one language?

Yes. Many teams start with Spanish and add Portuguese or French next quarter. Your termbase carries over, so the second language starts ahead.

Do you work in our tools?

We work in your files directly, or in your TMS if you invite us. No new platform to buy.

Is a rush possible?

Tell us your launch date. We’ll say honestly whether it’s possible, and what it would cost, before you commit.
